1 in 4 children experience at least one trauma before they are 16. Today Mr. Walter is going to talk about a subject that is dear to his heart and that is childhood trauma.

Today, our show will focus on PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There are 3.5 million men and women enlisted who are on active duty around this world. There is another 18.8 million men and women who are veterans. 1 out of 8 soldiers returning from combat suffer from PTSD.

The misnomer is “I can stop it whenever I want to.” The truth of the matter is you know someone directly or indirectly who has an addiction to drugs or alcohol. It is raking havoc in our communities, families and our nation as a whole…. 

I’d like to share the story of Dr. Michael Strong. Dr.Strong is a United States Veteran who came from a good home with supportive parents. His bright future was extinguished by one act to which Michael contends he was wrongfully accused and convicted. He was convicted of 1st degree murder and sentenced for life behind bars.
